Bali Nasi Lemak is located near the end of Geylang Lor 15. The unique menu here includes stir fried petai with sambal, curry chicken and kecap manis chicken. One can also ask for alternative white rice instead of rice cooked with coconut milk for the health conscious.
Kecap Manis Chicken |
Kecap Manis Chicken is a innovative product in Mdm Susan Koh's Bali Nasi Lemak. The story goes that business was brisk during the initial times for Bali Nasi Lemak and Mrs Foong had to innovate from an existing dish of kecap manis pork rib that she cooks for her family. The innovative twist proved to be a success with customers responding favourably and its reputation spreading quickly through word of mouth.

ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of Nasi Lemak & the Otak looks good! I haven't tried Kecap Manis Chicken before. Looks interesting! Thks for sharing, Ken!
Hi, appreciate you popping by. The Kecap Manis Chicken is great. Tasty caramelized crust before sinking your teeth onto the juicy bits of the chicken. Personally, I prefer chicken thigh compared to chicken wings.
